Our fine cuisine
Menus are tailored to your wishes and requirements, in close consultation with our Belgian chef. Our kitchen is renowned for its use of fresh ingredients and local produce. You have a choice of two finely furnished restaurants: a Table d’Hôte or a classically furnished Salon a manger.
Throughout a busy day, your hard work will be rewarded with all manner of delicacies prepared by
our chef.
- Your day begins with a substantial, healthy breakfast.
- In the afternoon we will serve a substantial lunch, consisting of an entrée buffet and a ‘plat du Jour’.
- During breaks you can enjoy home-made sweet and savoury ‘bites’. In addition, bowls of freshfruit and bottled water are alwaysprovided at various locations throughout the castle.
- In the evening our chef will delight you with a four-course dinner and fine wines. His style of cooking is characterised by refined simplicity, and he uses local seasonal produce that isalways fresh. Fresh herbs from the chef ’s own garden add the perfect finishing touch.
- The lounges and bars are open to everyone. Please help yourself!
Hospitality is also a priority for our kitchen staff . The door is always open, and you are welcome to visit the kitchen and meet the chef and his team. They will tell you about their passion for good-quality food and fine cooking. And with a little persuasion, the chef might reveal one of his delicious recipes or take you to visit his pride and joy: the castle’s excellent wine cellar.
